Late again, but it completely slipped my mind! On the workday on Tuesday, I spent more time in the library transcribing "When You Go". I did not make as much progress as I hoped, because I kept getting hung up on this one note that I could not for the life of me figure out. The more that I listen to it, the more confused, and annoyed, I get. This is particularly because it sounds very different on a computer piano than on a cappella voice. The only way to remedy this is by working on a real piano. I do not have much time left to finish this project, so I will have to get some solid work in these next few weeks. This will include finishing transcribing, practicing singing, and recording it all together.

Google Day 2 Oct. 5
A bit late, but on the work day on Friday, I went to work transcribing "When You Go" on a program called Noteflight. I only wrote out about the first twenty seconds of the song, but it is going swimmingly. I think that I will have trouble singing some parts of it because my voice does not go so high or so low, and so I might have to change the key, but I am very excited to begin recording it.
